He graduated in sociology and political science from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, before receiving a doctorate in sociology from the Jagiellonian University in 2009. His research interests include studies of public discourses, political culture (conspiracy theory, political myths), globalization and socio-political history of the Philippines and South-East Asia.
He has published a monograph entitled Koszmarne scenariusze. Społeczne konstruowanie lęku w debacie o globalizacji [Nightmare scenarios. Social constructions of fear in the debate on globalization] (2010).
In the institute he teaches: Methodology of Social Research, Socio-Cultural Aspects of Globalization, Intercultural Relation in Asia.
