Dr Karolina Golemo graduated in sociology, as well as journalism and social communication from the Jagiellonian University. In 2009, she was awarded a doctorate in sociology. Her research interests are related with the sociology of culture, especially in Spanish and Italian societies. Her most important publication is Obraz Polski i Polaków we Włoszech. Poglądy, oceny, opinie [The Picture of Poland and Poles in Italy: Views, Judgements and Opinions] (Kraków, 2010). In the institute she teaches: Sociology of Culture, Stereotypes and Images of Others in Media and Culture, as well as the multiculturality of Spain.
