Professor Monika Banaś, graduated in management and Swedish philology at the Jagiellonian University, where in 2002 she was awarded a doctorate in the field of management, and a postdoctoral degree on political science in 2012. Her research focus on Nordic cultures and deals with the relations between culture, politics, and economy. Among others, she is an author of the book Szwedzka polityka integracyjna wobec imigrantów [Swedish Integration Policy] (2010). She gives lectures in the following subjects: Introduction to Intercultural Relations, Institutions in Intercultural Relations, and Nordic Culture.
